Locale problems

This has happened too many times - so here's a note: http://www.peterryan.net/2007/11/05/perl-locale-is-corrupted-after-gutsy-upgrade/

EDIT: The target site appears to break, so here's the fix:

 sudo locale-gen
sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
